This wall-hanging sculpture is made from cherry wood and dyed rattan reed. The reed is woven into a hollow squiggly tube shape and then a piece of solid cherry wood is carefully shaped to fit inside. The wood is hand carved with gouges to create a textured surface. It hangs from two keyhole slots in the back of the piece of wood.
