Learn the art of coiled rope basketry with this artist-designed kit! Great as a group activity for a craft party, or a solo activity on the couch. Beginner friendly!

Each coiled basket kit contains an easy-to-understand instruction manual filled with illustrations and photographs, a custom spool of high-quality waxed thread from Maine Thread Company, two coiling needles, and your choice of sisal or black polypropylene rope. The basket bases are handmade in Pittsburgh, PA from domestic hardwood, are drilled for weaving, and finished with linseed oil and beeswax.

This kit will create a basket approx. 3-5” in diameter and 2-4” tall, and will take between 3-6 hours to complete.
